# About Techolm

Techolm is a website of free utility tools that you can use without an account, made by Dewiride Technologies Private Limited. Its tools are grouped into 24 categories, new tools are added over time, and a tool that is planned but not built yet is marked "Coming soon".

## What the site is

Techolm is one place for small, focused tools that count, convert, calculate, format or check something. The tools are grouped into 24 categories, from text and PDF files to units, dates and money, and each category has its own page. The [list of all tools](https://techolm.com/tools) shows every tool from A to Z.

Every tool is free to use, and you never need an account or a sign-in.

## Who makes it

Techolm is a product of Dewiride Technologies Private Limited ([Dewiride](https://dewiride.com)). Dewiride plans and builds the tools, writes and publishes the pages, and runs the public website at https://techolm.com.

If your organization runs Techolm on its own servers, your organization runs that installation, and its own policies apply to it.

## How tools are added

Tools that are planned but not built yet are listed as "Coming soon". When a tool is built, it gets its own page with the tool itself, a short answer to what it does, how to use it, and the date it last changed. Any examples on a tool page are computed by the tool's own code, never typed by hand.

## How the site works

Pages are built in advance, so each one arrives complete, with its text already in it. Opening a page sends no request to any other website: fonts and icons come from the site itself, and there are no ads, analytics or trackers. Each tool page says where that tool runs. The site is in English.
