# Maps & Geo Data

Geo data tools handle locations and shapes: points, lines and areas stored as coordinates in formats such as GeoJSON, KML from Google Earth, GPX tracks from GPS devices and shapefiles from GIS software. GeoJSON, KML and GPX all use latitude and longitude on the WGS 84 datum, the reference system GPS uses.
