# YAML, TOML & INI

YAML, TOML and INI are text formats for configuration files that people edit by hand. YAML relies on indentation, so one misplaced space can change the meaning; TOML uses named sections and typed values; INI is an older, simpler key and value style. Converting a file to JSON shows exactly how it was parsed.
