# Word

Word document tools work on DOCX files and related formats such as the older DOC, OpenDocument ODT and Rich Text Format. Common jobs are upgrading old DOC files, combining several documents, comparing two drafts, removing comments and tracked changes, and saving the text as HTML or Markdown for the web.

## Tools

- DOC to DOCX (Coming soon): Convert old Word 97-2003 DOC files into the current DOCX format.
