# Archives & Compression

Archive tools pack many files into one and unpack them again, usually compressing the data to save space when sending folders by email or upload. Before extracting an archive from someone you do not know, list its contents first: archives can hide executable programs behind harmless-looking names.

## Tools

- RAR Extractor (Coming soon): Open a RAR archive, list its contents and extract the files inside it.
- ZIP Extractor (Coming soon): Open a ZIP archive, see the files inside and save the ones you need.
