# Pregnancy & Baby

Pregnancy is usually dated from the first day of the last menstrual period, and due dates, conception dates, ovulation, fertile windows and the current week of pregnancy are all estimated from that starting point. Baby growth is compared with standard growth charts. A midwife, doctor or ultrasound scan gives the dates to plan around.
