# Background & Objects

Background tools separate the main subject of a photo from everything behind it, then delete, blur or replace the background. Object removal erases something unwanted and fills the gap from surrounding pixels. A transparent result needs a format with an alpha channel, such as PNG or WebP, because JPG cannot store transparency.

## Tools

- Background Remover (Coming soon): Remove the background from a photo and save the subject as a transparent PNG.
