# Fractions & Decimals

Fractions and decimals are two ways of writing parts of a whole, and every fraction becomes a decimal that either ends or repeats. Typical tasks are fraction arithmetic, simplifying to lowest terms, and mixed numbers and improper fractions. Repeating decimals convert back too: 0.333… equals 1/3, and 0.1666… equals 1/6.
