# Speed & Connectivity

Connection quality has several parts: bandwidth is how much data moves per second, latency is how long a round trip takes, and jitter is how much latency varies. Speeds are quoted in megabits per second, so a 100 Mbit/s line moves at most about 12.5 megabytes per second.

## Tools

- Internet Speed Test (Coming soon): Measure your download speed, upload speed and latency to a test server.
