Icons, Favicons & Logos

A favicon is the small icon that browsers show in tabs and bookmarks, and phones use larger versions when a site is added to the home screen, such as the 180-pixel Apple touch icon. A square source image of at least 512 pixels can produce every common size, while SVG icons stay sharp at all of them.
