Editorial policy

Dewiride writes and publishes every page on Techolm, and drafts may be written with AI agents. A person reviews a tool page's text before search engines may index it, automatic checks refuse copy that is too short, duplicated or overstated, and a page's "Updated" date changes only with a recorded change.

Who writes the pages

Dewiride writes and publishes every page on Techolm. Drafts come from people and from AI agents, which are programs that write text from instructions. This page, like the site's other information pages, was first drafted with an AI agent. Every draft of a tool, category or information page, whoever writes it, must pass the same automatic checks before it can be published.

How a tool page is reviewed

Before a tool page can be indexed by search engines, a person reads its text and records a review: who reviewed it, the date, and a fingerprint of the exact text they read. A fingerprint is a short code computed from the text, so any later edit no longer matches it.

  • The review covers the page's text. It does not cover the tool's code or its error messages; automated tests check the code.
  • The page shows who reviewed it and when only while its text matches the reviewed text. After an edit, that line disappears until a person reviews the new text.
  • Only the person who did a review may record it.

When pages are offered to search engines

Search engines may index a page of https://techolm.com once it is ready:

  • a tool page, when the tool is available, a person has reviewed its text and its scheduled week has come;
  • a category page, once it lists at least one available tool;
  • an information page such as this one, from the start.

New tool pages become indexable at a limited pace each week, not all at once.

Automatic checks on tool, category and information pages

Each time the site is built, the text written for every tool, category and information page goes through automatic checks, and a page whose text fails them stops the build. The checks refuse:

  • titles, descriptions and answers that are too short or too long;
  • ranking and certainty claims that nobody can keep;
  • a fixed list of privacy phrases that are true only for tools that work on your device, when a tool that uses a server says them about itself, or when a category or information page says them in its own text;
  • the same title or description on two tool pages, two category pages or two information pages, and tool pages whose text is too close to another tool's.

Sources we cite

When a page cites a source, we use primary sources only: standards, specifications, official documentation and government publications. A tool page lists the sources it relies on in its "Sources" section, each with the date we read it.

Updates and corrections

The "Updated" date on a page changes only when we record a real change to it. If you find a mistake, contact Dewiride through its website with the page address and what is wrong. When we confirm an error, we fix the page and record the change, which moves its "Updated" date.

What we never publish

We never publish invented numbers, ratings, reviews, testimonials, user counts, customer logos or awards. Counts on the site come from the site's own data each time it is built. Planned tools are marked "Coming soon" and never described as available. Tools on health, money, legal and safety topics state their assumptions, cite official sources and never claim to replace a professional.
