Websites publish small, standard files at known locations so other systems can read facts about them. Examples include ads.txt, which lists authorized ad sellers, security.txt (RFC 9116), which says how to report a vulnerability and lives in the /.well-known/ folder, and llms.txt, a proposed guide for AI tools.
